My Philosophy

The most important thing anyone should know about me, is that I provide solutions which solve, not create, problems. Many developers take your specification sheet, and turn it out into an application, that for better or worse, is exactly what you asked for, but isn't necessarily what you need, or in some circumstances, even usable.

After your initial project consult, I will set aside some time to talk to you specifically about your business. Who your client base is, how you bring in revenue, and your general work flow. From this, I will ensure your final product matches your work flow, client base, and product/service selection as closely as possible.

One client project in particular sticks out when this is explained. The client in question had an outdated content management system in place, which had deteriorated to the point where much of the content in the system was inaccessible. In the process of extracting that data and putting it into their new Joomla based system, I uncovered several pages of inspirational quotes. Recognizing that these were obviously of some importance to the client, and the client's intent in passing them along to their visitors, I loaded these inspirational quotes into a quote database module, which would display a quote randomly on each page of their site.

Successful web development projects often go beyond just programming to specification. It's anticipating your needs. It's reading between the lines of your specification, seeing the nature of what you're trying to accomplish, and doing whatever I can to ensure you get just what you need out of your project.
